Cal has to cross two time zones again for the fourth time in a short week. They are facing Wake Forest who doesn’t have a great pass defense and are looking for their first home win of the season in conference play. Wake Forest enter this game having won their last two games and have tightened up on their defensive lapses in their last two games. WF will be able to move the ball against the Bears defense where Cal hasn’t had great success on the east coast and allowed NC State to put up 24 points this season. The Demon Deacons will be able to stay in this game and have a chance to pull the upset off too as QB Bachmeier has improved in his offensive play.
