Morton is 6-8 with an ERA of 5.34 versus the Nationals with a WHIP of 1.35 at home. Even though he’s pitched better in his last two starts, he still struggles against Washington, losing his last start to them this season. Washington has started to hit more and their bullpen has improved somewhat as they face a Braves offense that is so inconsistent now. The Braves are 1-5 straight up in their last 6 games as a home favorite and Washington has won four of their last five games in Atlanta. There is good value on the underdog in this game and they have a good chance of winning this game.
