Freddy Peralta was much better in the first half of the season and now he is struggling with some control issues and a bit of regression. Cleveland comes into this game off of five wins and have won four of their last five road games. Bibee is on the mound for Cleveland and he has been solid for the Guardians and really good on the road too, winning his last two road starts. Bibee is the better pitcher in this spot, keeping opposing batters to .227 in hitting against him, and he can keep them in the game while they get a few early runs off of Peralta and plate baserunners. He should be better than Peralta at shutting down the Brewers offense. Once the Guardian’s bullpen comes in, they should further close down this game and hold the lead. Milwaukee’s offense has suffered recently without Yelich in the lineup, and Cleveland can take advantage of this. Cleveland is also 34-30 on the road.
