The Jets will not start Aaron Rodgers, but Adrian Martinez and Andrew Peasley will be sharing quarterback duties. Martinez is coming from the UFL league where he was named MVP and his team won the championship. The Jets backup defense core was strong last season and should do a good job in this game as they go up against a Washington team that will have a new coach in Dan Quinn, and a new system to figure out. Jayden Daniel should get some snaps along with Marcus Mariota who is an experienced QB in the NFL. Washington did not have a good defense last season and this game may showcase more of that in what should be a more sloppy game and this game should stay under the total.
