(WNBA) Indiana vs. Minnesota,
Point Spread: 6.50 | -108.00 Indiana (Away)
Result: Win
This should be a bounce back spot for Minnesota who got blown out by the Storm in their last game, however, the Lynx aren’t always the best at home in covering the spread as they face a competitive Fever team who have been playing much better offensively, and they are playing without Collier again. This is their first game playing against each other this season and the Fever are catching the Lynx at a great time when they haven’t been their best. The last game they played back in September of last season, the Fever beat the Lynx 87-72. Minnesota is 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games and 2-4 against the spread in their last six games at home. The Lynx have struggled on offense lately since the Commissioner’s Cup win and have relied more on their defensive play. They have only managed 31% from the field and 27% from the 3 point line since the Cup win. The Fever’s offensive front of Boston, Mitchell, Clark and Smith have all improved in their shooting and this combo is hitting teams hard as the Fever now have two wins against teams that are .500 or better, both wins coming in the last week or so. Clark has improved in her shooting as she leads the team with her offensive scoring and both teams can match each other in their 3 point shooting. The Fever are showing signs of playing much better as a cohesive unit and should hang around in this game. Indiana is 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games. The Fever are 5-2 against the spread in their last 7 meetings against each other. The Fever have a good shot in this game to cover the spread, especially if Collier is out with a foot injury, as the Lynx are 2-5 against the spread in their last 7 games versus a team with a losing straight up record. Even if Collier plays, she's playing with a foot injury and may not be as effective in this game. There is value in taking the underdog.

Best bet: take the points with Indiana Fever.
