Even with Wacha on the mound for the Royals, they are not hitting on the road and have struggled with their offense in the last month. Their bullpen also has fallen to the bottom third of the league. St. Louis has seen Wacha before and they should be able to get some hits off of him as they have had a great seven game road stint and just took 3 out of 4 games off the Nationals and shut them out in the last game in that series. The Cardinals offense is starting to get hot and Pallante has been solid for the team, especially in his last three starts with an ERA of 3.06 in the last three. He should have the backing of the team’s bats and the better bullpen to close out the game and get the win. The Cardinals are 12-5 in their last 17 games.
