Montero has been terrible for the Tigers as he’s been hit hard by opposing teams, both times when called up from the minors. The Twins have been playing so much better right now with the better lineup and bullpen so the edge has to go to the Twins. Even though Festa’s had the one start where the team won his game, he did give up five earned runs and a homerun but he did have the teams bats behind him and the bullpen. Other than that being his first start, he still pitched decently in that game. The Twins will support Festa again and the bullpen can step in early if there is any real trouble. The Twins just have the better lineup at home and they have been improving in the last month and have a chance to catch Cleveland in the division so they are a bet-on team right now.
