Suarez is on the mound for the Phillies and he has the best pitcher for the Phillies this season with a strong winning record against the Padres. Suarez is 3-0 when starting against San Diego with an ERA of 2.39 and a WHIP of 0.874. He’s already pitched and won his start this season against the Padres and should do fine in this spot with his 13-1 win record. They go up against Matt Waldren who hasn’t been good on the road with a 3-5 losing record and he has lost his last two starts, despite being one of the Padres better pitchers. The strong Phillies offense is going to get to him, and with having the home edge, and with the Padres not hitting left handed pitchers well, the Phillies should get another win in this spot.
