Now that Juan Soto is back in the Yankees lineup for this game, look for plenty of runs in this game. The offense for the Yankees is so potent that, while Singer has been good for the Royals, he will be susceptible to this strong offense. He’s going to give up some runs in this game and he already has given up a few home runs in his last couple of starts. In his last start, he only pitched 3 innings, gave up a homerun and 3 runs, and he had trouble striking out batters in his last two games, also walking a few more batters too. The Royals have done well on offense and have good numbers against right handed pitchers this season. They can get to Stroman who had a shaky start in his last game, giving up 2 home runs and five earned runs at home. Now he’s on the road and it looks like the beginning of some regression for him as he started to walk some more batters, so he is vulnerable to the Royals offense as some regression sets in. The bullpen isn’t as strong with the Royals as regression has set in there, so there is going to be more runs late in this game. Look for runs early and often.
