Verlander is on the mound and he has owned the Mariners going 22-10 in his career against them and he is 22-11 in road starts. They go up against Kirby who has struggled recently and isn’t in his good form. The Astros are also showing signs of life in their offense and though they had a slow start out of the gate this season, look like they are starting to roll again. Take the more experienced team in this spot as Verlander can successfully counter any offense that Seattle might conjure up, which should be very little because they have had issues with their offense in the last few weeks.
