St. Louis is starting to wake up with their offense and this is a game where it can shine especially with Pallante on the mound. He’s had a few rough patches but with the Cardinals offense backing him up, they should be fine against the Reds who have Montas on the mound. Montas is 1-11 straight up at home when the money line is +125 to -125. He’s had several bad starts and he is expected to carry that bad form into this game where he will be susceptible to the mighty Cardinal bats. The Reds might be coming off this little spurt of wins they have had recently as they tend to struggle to follow up their wins with consistency. They are 2-8 straight up this season after scoring 4 runs or less 4 straight games. The edge in this game has to go to St.Louis who has the better starting lineup and bullpen to fall back on.
