The Pelicans are coming into this game with a 4-13 record this season and they are currently sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference. They have not been playing well in their recent games as they have lost their last 4 straight games and they have been banged up as well with some key pieces missing from the lineup, but they got Ingram back in their last game and they played much better in that game. They only lost by 4 points at home to the Warriors in their last game and they were right in that game until the very last shot. They are going to get up for this game now that they are getting healthier and playing better since they need to get themselves off of the foot of the conference. They are going up against a Pacers team that is 7-10 this season and they have not been playing very well in their recent games either. They are coming off of a 12 point win at home over the Wizards in their last game, but the Wizards are one of the worst teams in the league this season. They have actually lost 3 of their last 4 games and all 3 of those losses have come by 10+ points. This is also an awful spot for them as they are coming off of that Wizards win on Sunday night so they are on a B2B here, but they also played in Milwaukee on Friday night so this is their 3rd game in the last 4 nights. The Pacers have been struggling to get right this season since losing in the Eastern Conference Finals last year and this is a bad spot for them where fatigue is going to settle in against a rested Pelicans team that is getting healthier and hungry for a win here.
