AMEDEUS' CFB FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS OUT!
(NCAAF) Bruins (UCLA) vs. Huskies (WAS),
Point Spread: -3.50 | -120.00 Huskies (WAS) (Home)
Result: Win
UCLA is coming into this game with a 4-5 record this season and they are 3-4 in the conference. They have been playing very well in their recent games as they have won their last 3 straight, winning 2 of those games on the road as well. Their defense has been much better over their last 4 games, but they have also faced a lot more run heavy teams which they have been good at defending. They are going up against a Washington team that is 5-5 this season and they are 3-4 in the conference. They have not been playing well in their recent games as they have lost 3 of their last 4 games and they are coming off of a 35-6 loss on the road against Penn State in their last game. They have been struggling more recently, but all 3 of their losses in that span came on the road and they have played some of the better teams in the conference in that span as well, losing to Penn State and Indiana. Their last win actually came at home against USC and they have won their last 3 straight games there, winning all 3 of those by 5+ points and 2 of those 3 games by 10+ points. UCLA has a very good run defense this season, but they have some weaknesses defending the pass and Washington is more of a pass heavy team with a good quarterback in Will Rogers who can attack this UCLA secondary. UCLA has also struggled to run the ball on offense this season, but this Washington defense is only allowing 149.8 passing yards per game and allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 52.5% of their passes. UCLA is going to struggle against this Washington defense while Washington torches this UCLA secondary through the air. Washington will cover the spread in this game.
