Charlotte is coming into this game with a 1-1 record this season. They are coming off of a good season last year as they were one of the better teams in the AAC and also had a very good record overall. They lost some of their starters from last season, but they did return some players and will be hungry to take a big step this season with the conference being more open now. They opened the season with a 9 point win at home against Presbyterian, but they are coming off of a very bad 29 point road loss to Utah State in their last game. That loss was awful but the Mountain West Conference is also a much stronger conference with some good teams and they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home from such a bad loss like that. They are going up against a Richmond team that is 1-1 this season and they were one of the better teams in the A10 last season. They also lost quite a few of their starters though so this is not going to be that same team that was so dominant all season. They opened the season with a big win at home against a team that does not play in Division I, but they followed it up with a home loss in their last game, losing their only Division I game this season to Marist by 7 points. Now they are playing their 1st road game of the season and Charlotte is a very good team that will be hungry to bounce back from their last game. Charlotte will cover the spread in this game.
