The Heat are coming into this game with a 2-2 record this season and they have not been playing well to start the season. They lost their 1st game of the season at home to the Magic, getting blown out by 19 points, and they are coming off of a loss against the Knicks in their last game, also losing that game at home by 9 points. They have only played in 1 road game this season and it was a win, but their 2 wins this year have not been very impressive. They beat the Hornets on the road and the Pistons at home but they only won both of those games by 8 points and those were 2 of the worst teams in the NBA last season. They are going up against a Wizards team that was also awful last season, but they are coming into this game with a 2-2 record and have not been awful to start the season. They started the season with 2 straight losses, losing both of those games by 19+ points, but those losses were also against the Celtics and the Cavaliers who were both very good teams in the Eastern Conference last season. Now they are going to have some confidence though as they have won their last 2 straight games, beating the Hawks in both of those games, and they are coming off of a 13 point win at home in their last game. The Heat usually get off to a slower start to the season like they are now and they have not been blowing bad teams out in their wins either. The Wizards have played much better over their last 2 games and they will hang around in this game to keep it close at a neutral site with no real atmosphere for either side.
