The Golden Knights are coming into this game with a 7-2-1 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 4 straight games and have scored 5+ goals in all 4 of those games, but all 4 of those games were also at home where they have played much better. They have not played good on the road this season as they have lost all 3 of their road games this year. Their defense has not been good in these games either, allowing at least 4 goals in all 3 of them. They are going up against a Kings team that is 5-3-2 this season and they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home in this game. They have been playing well recently as they have won 2 of their last 3 as well as 4 of their last 6 games, but they are coming off of a loss in their last game. They are playing on a B2B here but they are coming off of a loss on the road against the Sharks 4-2 in their last game and they are going to be hungry to bounce back after a loss like that to a rival, especially a rival who is one of the worst teams in the league this season. That was only the 2nd win of the season for the Sharks so the Kings are not going to be satisfied here and will get up for a better Golden Knights team at home to get right from that bad game against a bad team. The Kings have been much better at home this season as well as they have only played 2 games there and have won both of them, allowing 2 goals or less in each of them as well. Scoring has not been a problem for the Kings this season either so they are going to find the net on this VGK team that has been allowing a lot of goals on the road this year, and the Kings also lost 6-1 in Vegas about a week ago so they will be playing with revenge on their mind. The Kings will win this game at home.
