The Vikings are coming into this game with a 5-1 record this season and they are coming off of their 1st loss of the season in their last game. They lost to the Lions 31-29 at home and now they are on the road on a short week. They are going up against a Rams team that is 4-2 this season and is coming off of a win against the Raiders in their last game. They won at home against the Raiders 20-15 after coming off of their bye, and that bye week helped them get healthier as they have some key pieces coming back to the lineup. The Rams have actually had a good run game this season as Kyren Williams has been running very well all year. The Lions were able to move the ball efficiently on the ground against the Vikings last week so Williams will find the same success with the way he has been running. That also helped open up the passing game for the Lions as Goff was able to shred their secondary, and the Rams have a veteran quarterback in Stafford who will be able to pick apart this secondary as well now that he is getting some weapons back for this game. The Rams have also been much better on defense recently, only allowing 15 points in their last game. Sam Darnold has also been declining over their last 3 games as the Vikings have played in much closer games, all decided by 1 score, and he has turned the ball over in each of their last 3 games as well. The Rams defense has been playing much better and they are coming off of a game which they forced 3 interceptions from Minshew as well as picking off Love in their game prior so they will be able to force some turnovers here and capitalize on those. The Rams will cover the spread in this game.
