AMEDEUS' MLB GOLD STRIKE!
(MLB) Yankees (NYY) vs. Guardians (CLE),
Money Line: -120.00 Yankees (NYY) (Away)
Result: Win
The Yankees are coming into this game with a 3-1 series lead and they have a chance to end this series right here with another win. They are coming off of an 8-6 win in their last game and their offense has been on fire in this series, scoring 5+ runs in all 4 games. They are going up against a Guardians team that has been much better on offense in the last 2 games at home, but they still have the weakest offense of all the playoff teams left. Tanner Bibee is starting for the Guardians in this game and he is 12-8 with a 3.47 ERA this season. He has pitched very well all season, but he has only faced the Yankees once all year and it came in this series. He was great in his 1st playoff start against the Tigers as he allowed no runs in 4 innings, but his next start in that series saw him allow 2 earned runs in 4 innings as he was not able to replicate the same performance. His last start which was in this series saw him allow 2 earned runs, but he allowed 3 runs total and was only in the game for a bit more than 1 inning. The Yankees have been on fire offensively so they are going to score some runs on Bibee here and as good as the bullpen has been for the Guardians all season, they have still been allowing a lot of late runs to the Yankees in this series. Carlos Rodón is starting for the Yankees in this game and he is 16-9 with a 3.96 ERA this season. He has had 2 starts in the playoffs and was not great in their last series against the Royals, allowing 4 earned runs in a little less than 4 innings, but he was much better in his last start as he allowed 1 earned run against the Guardians in 6 innings. The Yankees also have a very good bullpen themselves to back him up here. The Yankees have the much better offense that has been outscoring the Guardians this whole series and they are going to be hungry to close out this series in Cleveland and get some rest as they await their opponent in the World Series. The Yankees will win this game and close out the series 4-1.
