The Raiders are coming into this game with a 2-2 record this season and they are coming off of a 20-16 win against the Browns in their last game. They are going up against a Broncos team that is also 2-2 this season and has won their last 2 straight games after starting the season 0-2. They have pulled off some upset wins, winning on the road against the Buccaneers 26-7 and on the road against the Jets 10-9, but their offense has struggled a lot this season. The only game their offense has really clicked in was their win over the Bucs. The other 3 games they have played have seen them struggle to run the ball and struggle with a rookie quarterback in Bo Nix. The Broncos have had a very good defense this season, specifically their pass defense, but they have struggled more against the run game and that is an area the Raiders can exploit. White is going to be out for this game, but Mattison will be taking over. Mattison has not had a big role in the offense this season, but last week he rushed for 60 yards on just 5 carries and will make the most of his opportunity as the starter here. The Raiders have struggled to stop the run themselves and the Broncos do have a very good run game, but Bo Nix has not been good or accurate in the passing game so the Raiders defense will be able to sell out on the run game and force Nix to beat them with his arm. The Broncos offense will struggle while the Raiders have success on the ground with Mattison, and Minshew is still a more experienced quarterback in the league who will make less mistakes in this game.
