The Dolphins are coming into this game with a 1-3 record this season and they have had a lot of issues with their offense. They have been awful in their last 2 games without Tua, but even when he was playing, the offense has not been running the ball well and it has thrown off a lot for them. Tyler Huntley was much better at quarterback against the Titans than Thompson and Boyle were in their 1 game, the Dolphins scoring 12 points with Huntley last week but only 3 points combined with the other 2 quarterbacks. Huntley is getting his 2nd start for the Dolphins and should be better in this game, but he still only had 96 passing yards in their last game and the team struggled to run the ball. They are going up against a Patriots team that is 1-3 this season and has lost 3 straight games after upsetting the Bengals in their 1st game of the season. They lost their last 2 games in blowouts, losing 24-3 to the Jets and 30-13 to the 49ers in their last game, but those were both road games against much better teams. Now they are going to be back at home for the 2nd time this season and their only other home game was a close 3 point loss to the Seahawks in OT. The Patriots have a very strong run game and they had to get away from that in their last 2 games as they were playing from behind against better opponents, but now they are getting a more evenly matched opponent here at home and they will not have to abandon the run game here. The Dolphins have actually struggled to stop the run in all of their games so the Patriots will move the ball on this defense. The Patriots got gashed on defense in San Francisco last week, but that was a team that was in the Super Bowl last season. Their defense has been much better in their other 3 games this season and they will be able to stop this Dolphins offense that has not been doing much right. The Patriots will cover the spread in this game.
