(NCAAF) Volunteers (TEN) vs. Razorbacks (ARK),
Point Spread: 14.00 | -110.00 Razorbacks (ARK) (Home)
Result: Win
Tennessee is coming into this game with a 4-0 record this season and they are 1-0 in the SEC. They are coming off of their 1st conference win of the season, winning on the road against Oklahoma 25-15. They are going up against an Arkansas team that is 3-2 this season and is 1-1 in the SEC. They are coming off of a loss in their last game, losing 21-17 to Texas A&M, but prior to that they won on the road against Auburn 24-14. They are playing their 1st conference game at home this season and they have already been battle tested against some very tough teams this year. Tennessee has not really been battle tested though. They have a very good defense, but they also have not seen any strong offenses this season. Even their win against Oklahoma in their last game was an Oklahoma team that has been struggling on offense all year. Arkansas is going to be their 1st real test and they have had a very good offense this season. They are averaging 212 rushing yards per game, 5.2 yards per carry, and 283 passing yards per game as well. Tennessee has been very good on defense, averaging 50.8 rushing yards allowed per game and 125.3 passing yards allowed per game, but this is going to be the strongest run game and the best offense they have faced all season. Tennessee also has a very good offense themselves, but Arkansas has been tested against some stronger teams this year and they are only averaging 93 rushing yards allowed per game, 3.1 yards per carry as well. Tennessee may win this game on the road, but they are going to find it very difficult to pull away against this defense and Arkansas has the quality on offense to score points and keep this within 1 score if they do not win it straight up. Arkansas will cover the spread in this game.
