The Seahawks are coming into this game with a 3-0 record this season and they have been playing very well in the Mike Macdonald era. Their offense has been consistent as they have scored 23+ points in all 3 games this season, and they have a very balanced offense that is running the ball well, even with Charbonnet taking over, and they are throwing the ball well with all of the weapons they have. They are going up against a Lions team that is 2-1 this season and is coming off of a win in Arizona in their last game, but their offense has not been overpowering this season as they have not scored more than 26 points in any of their 3 games, averaging around 21 points per game in that span. They have been running the ball very well in their games though and that is going to be a big part of their game plan here. The Seahawks weakness on defense in these first 3 games has been stopping the run so the Lions are going to keep this game on the ground and that will allow the Seahawks to stay in this and the Lions will not be able to pull away by multiple scores quickly, trying to milk the clock with longer drives. The Seahawks secondary has also been very good and the Lions have struggled to throw the ball efficiently. The Lions have been stopping the run well on defense so the Seahawks are going to struggle there, but their bread and butter has been in the passing game with all the weapons they have and Geno Smith playing much better this season as well. The Seahawks ran the ball well with Charbonnet in their last game, but even if they struggle on the ground here, they will be able to attack this Lions defense through the air, specifically the middle of the field where the Lions have had trouble defending, and the Seahawks will always have the ability to move the ball in this game, especially if they need to come back. The Seahawks have the quality to win this game straight up and the Lions defense will allow them to stay in this game even if they take an early lead. The Seahawks will cover the spread in this game.
