Im on the Cubs money line vs the cardinals for these reasons:

- Imanaga is the better pitcher if comparing he and Sonny Gray, but it’s no surprise the line is close given how well they have been striking out bats. The issue with the pitching staffs is that I trust Chicagos more after the starters leave the mound. Also, the Cardinals are batting .224 against lefties which is not going to help their situation in a close low scoring matchup that I predict it will be.

- Cubs beat them 5-1 the last time Imamaga started vs the Cardinals. It also was a Chicago home game.

- Sonny gray has won a lot of way games this seasons but they were high scoring games that could’ve gone in anyone’s favor. This to me means he’s taking punishment and surviving his innings, while Imanagas wins have been dominant.
