I'm laying the points with Arkansas given how better they have played on both sides of the ball and having played the better competition played that better competition well. Arkansas has a 21-24 loss to Bama in Tuscaloosa, and a 31-34 loss to LSU in Louisiana. LSU completely dominated Mississippi State in Mississippi through the air specifically and thats what I've been most surprised about with Arkansas, is that they can throw the ball as well as they ran the ball last season. Arkansas being at home for this game gives me confidence that the defense will be the firm standing factor in them covering the spread, as we already know they will have whatever they want against this terrible Mississippi Defense that is allowing 29.5 points per game. Mississippi State will want this to be a shootout, but that's not going to win or cover the spread for them in this spot. Mississippi State will have to miraculously find some defense to come close to winning and I doubt that happens.
