MLB - Cardinals @ Reds
(MLB) St. Louis vs. Cincinnati,
Total: 10.00 | -109.00 Under
Result: Loss
Reds aren't a good batting team ranking 20th in hits and 22nd in Runs overall in the MLB. Cardinals are one of the better batting teams in the MLB and should be able to win this game in the end, but the betting price is too high for the MoneyLine and I'm not sure I want to take the Cardinals on the road on the RunLine vs a divisional opponent. The under is where I'll put my money, as Jordan Montgomery should be able to slow down an already struggling batting team, and it bodes well that 2 of the last 3 games Montgomery started has gone under the current game total of 10 runs. Clearly the only path to victory for the Reds is to outpitch the Cardinals and keep runs to a minimum. In game one I see that happening with Brandon Williamson on the mound who did well in his first 5 innings of the season vs the Rockies. This will be a much tougher task for Brandon, but he has only allowed 1 run so far in his short season of work. Reds are 5-3 to the under of 10 runs in the last 8 home games, so I'll take the Under.

Official Play: Under 10 Runs

Side Bet: Under 5.5 Runs in the First Five Innings
