The Field of 68 Opening Day Showcase 3-Pack
(NCAAB) Aggies (TAM) vs. Knights (UCF),
Point Spread: -4.00 | -109.00 Aggies (TAM) (Away)
Result: Loss
The Texas A&M Aggies come in as the 13th ranked team in the nation. They will take on the UCF Knights. Last season, Texas A&M finished 21-15 overall and 9-9 in the SEC. Last season UCF finished 17-16 overall and 7-11 in Big 12 action. Texas A&M lost just one player from last season’s 21-win roster, but that loss was second leading scorer Tyrece Radford. UCF played their first season in the Big 12. They have 11 new players on its roster, nine of which are transfers. Leading scorer Jaylin Sellers is out indefinitely with an injury. Texas A&M has the majority of its roster back from last, including leading scorer Wade Taylor IV. They added Zhuric Phelps, who was the leading scorer last season for SMU. UCF will start the season without their leading scorer from last year. They will also be trying to get 11 new players to play together without a leader. I like the experienced Aggies to open the season with a road win.
