In the second Monday night game the Seattle Seahawks go on the road to take on the Detroit Lions. Seattle is 3-0 and Detroit comes in at 2-1. These two teams played last season with Seattle coming away with a 37-31 overtime win. Geno Smith has thrown for 787 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Zach Charbonnet has rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns while Kenneth Walker III is listed as questionable. On the defensive side, they are giving up 14.3 points per game. Jared Goff has thrown for 723 yards with three touchdowns and four interceptions. We haven’t seen the best of Goff of this season and he should get better. David Montgomery has rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns. The Lions are ranked ninth in defensive scoring, allowing 17.7 points per game. Detroit has some key injuries on both side of the ball. The Lions will have an advantage playing at home. I think Detroit wins this game but am taking the points in what looks to be a close game.
