The Chicago Bears will play host to the Los Angeles Rams. Los Angeles is 1-2 with their only win being over the San Francisco 49ers last week. The Bears are also 1-2 but have lost two straight. The Bears offense has been inconsistent this season with the biggest problem being a lack of a running attack. Caleb Williams has completed 59.3% of his passes for 630 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions. He can’t throw the ball 52 times as he did last week or he wont last the season and the offensive line is poor at best. The offense ranks 30th in yards, 25th in passing yards, 31st in rushing yards per game, and 22nd in points per game with 17.7. The Bears' defense has been the story so far this season. They rank 9th in yards, and 7th against the pass. They are 18th in yards against the run, and they have a top-10 scoring defense allowing 19 points a game. Los Angeles has been dealing with injuries and picked up a huge win last week. Matt Stafford has completed 68.3% percent of his passes for 754 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Kyren Williams has rushed for 164 yards and four rushing touchdowns. The Rams rank 19th in yards, 9th in passing, 29th in rushing, and 20th in scoring at 19.0 points per game. On the defensive side, they have allowed the most yards per game and the second most points per game. They are the second-worst rushing defense in the league and we will see if the Bears can get a running game going, something they have not been able to do this season. Chicago’s offense has not scored more than 17 points in a game this season. The Rams are without their two threats at wide receiver and have three offensive linemen banged up but they still scored 27 against San Fran. Right now, I will take Sean McVay and Matt Stafford over Everflus and Caleb Williams. The Rams have always kept games close, with eight of their last nine games decided by one score. As long as Stafford doesn’t throw a pick-six or two I like the Rams chances to win outright.
