The CFL is underway and the Calgary Stampeders are looking to start the season with two straight wins as the head to Vancouver to take on the BC Lions. Calgary opened the season a 32-24 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Jake Maier passed for 252 yards and two touchdowns while Dedrick Mills rushed for 87 yards. Calgary had 369 yards of total offense. Calgary scored the second most points during week 1 and gave up the third-fewest.

The BC Lions weren't as lucky as they dropped their opener to the Toronto Argonauts 35-27. Vernon Adams Jr passed for 363 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. However, the BC defense couldn’t catch a cold giving up 374 yards to Toronto. Calgary is fifth in scoring after one week with 27 points, while eighth in points allowed at 35.

Both teams went over in their first game. Calgary IS 6-4 to the over the last 10 games while BC is 9-1. Head to head The over is 6-3-1 over the last 10. I am on the over in this one as the offenses will be better than the defenses early on.
