Seattle is 6-8 and tied for third in the AL West. The Mariners rank 26th in runs scored and 19th in team ERA. Seattle is 4-4 at home to start the season. They will hand the ball to Emerson Hancock for today’s start. He is 1-1 with a bloated 11.42 ERA and a 1.96 WHIP. Chicago has scored two runs in each of their last two games and has averaged three runs over their last six. They should be able to score off of Hancock and his over 11 ERA, Imanaga has not given up a run in his first two starts this season. I like the Cubs in this one as they have the better pitcher and more capable offense when on.
