The Liberty Flames come into this game with a perfect 12-0. New Mexico State Aggies come in at 10-3 and are 10-2-1 ATS. Liberty took care of business the last time these two teams met 33-17. New Mexico has gone 9-1 SU since that loss including eight in a row. The Aggies defense ranks 20th in the country with 19.6 points per game. They will have a tough time against Liberty's offense which is ranked in the top 10. New Mexico State QB Diego Pavia has thrown for 2727 yards with 23 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He also leads the team in rushing with 808 yards and another 5 touchdowns. Liberty’s QB Kaidon Salter does everything for Liberty as he has 28 passing touchdowns to go with 11 rushing touchdowns. They also have the best rushing team in the country. The Liberty defense is not that bad as they have given up 21.7 points a game. Liberty has scored fewer than 33 points twice since the first New Mexico State game and has put up at least 38 points for six straight weeks with five of those scoring 42 points or more. I think Liberty will put up at least 30 points in this one and I think New Mexico will struggle to keep pace. Liberty should be able to take care of a weak New Mexico run defense. On the other side, New Mexico loves to run the ball but Liberty has a great run defense. I like Liberty to take control early and not give New Mexico any chance to win let alone cover.
