Texas is first in the AL West and will send Martin Perez to the mound to face Detroit. He is 6-1 this season with a 3.83 ERA. He has gone 3-0 in his last five starts but with a 5.02 ERA. He's 3-1 with a 4.78 ERA on the road this season. The Tigers will send Alex Faedo to the mound. He is 1-2 this season with a 4.15 ERA. At Tiger Stadium, he is 1-1 with a 3.75 ERA. Perez has been solid this season while Faedo has been inconsistent. Texas is 8-5 this season as a road favorite and Detroit is 10-10 as a home underdog.
I think this line is a little off as Texas should be able to put up some runs against Fraedo and the lines pen and Perez should hold the Detroit bats at bay.
