The Guardians take on the Tigers in game two of a three-game series. Cleveland took the opening game 6-1. The Tigers were a lot of people's darling team this season but come into this game carrying a 13-25 record. They have won four of their last six games including a sweep over the Orioles. The Guardians are not much better at 16-19. The Tigers will send Alex Faedo to the mound. It will be his fourth start of the season, so far he has posted a 2.87 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. He has not allowed more than two runs in any of his starts. The Indians will counter with Shane Bieber. This season, he has posted a 3.72 ERA.

Cleveland is 6-2 in their last eight games as a favorite while Detroit is 7-18 in their last 25 games. The Guardians have everything going their way in this one. They have their ace on the mound and have the better offensive team and are playing at home. Detroit is the worst offensive team in baseball and this is a perfect spot for Bieber.
