The Villanova Wildcats take on the Purdue Boilermakers at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Boilermakers are coming off a 93-84 win over North Carolina. As a team, they put up 94.3 points and are shooting 52.9 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 67.5 points and their opponents are shooting 39 percent from the field and 30.2 percent from deep. The Tar Heels offense is led by Zach Edey with 18.7 points and 10.3 rebounds a game. Jaden Ivey adds 15.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Sasha Stefanovic with 13.7 points, Brandon Newman with 12.3 points, and Trevion Williams with 11.7 points round out the double-digit scorers for Purdue.

This should be a good game as both teams are experienced and are deep. Purdue has a definite size advantage in Edey and Williams. Those two will be able to control the paint on both ends of the court and on the offensive end, Villanova doesn't have an answer for them. Purdue will come through with a win because of their height advantage and the depth off the bench.
