NCAAF 10* Tailgate Party Special
(NCAAF) Rutgers vs. Syracuse,
Point Spread: -2.00 | -110.00 Rutgers (Away)
Result: Win
The Syracuse Orange take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in an ACC= Big 10 Football match-up. Rutgers dominated Temple in their opener of the season while Syracuse got a 20 point win over Ohio n their opener but it wasn’t easy. Rutgers finished last season at 3-6 but did win two of their last four games and opened this season with a win. In the win over Temple, Noah Vedral threw for 138 yards and a touchdown and he rushed for 58 yards. Rutgers scored six rushing touchdowns in the win.
Last season was not a good one for the Orange as they finished the season at just 1-10 overall. Against Ohio, Syracuse led 12 6 at the half before turning it up n the second half. Tommy Devito threw for 92 yards and Sean Tucker led the rushing attack with 181 yards and a touchdown on just 25 carries.
The Knights play tough on the defensive side of the ball and they held Temple to just 13 first downs and Temple was just 2 for 12 on third-downs. The offense rushed for 220 yards and controlled the clock. Syracuse rushed for 283 their week one win. I look for both teams to try and run the ball Rutgers defense is a lot better than Ohio’s and I expect them to slow down Syracuse and to come away with the win and cover.
Play on Rutgers. This is a 10* play.
