The Tigers dropped a 3-2 game to the Minnesota Twins Yesterday in a one=game set. The A's came away with 3-2 and 3-1 wins over the Yankees over the weekend after dropping the first two. Cole Irvin will make the start for the A's against the Tigers. He has posted a 3.68 ERA in 144.1 innings with 97 strikeouts and 31 walks this season. The Tigers have now lost three in a row after dropping the last two games to Toronto before losing yesterday to the Twins. The Tigers will hand the ball to Tarik Skubal for the start. He has posted an 8-11 record with a 4.01 ERA in 128 innings with 144 strikeouts.

The A’s got two much-needed wins when they took the last two from the Yankees over the weekend. The A's had the day off yesterday while the Tigers were forced to play a make-up game. Irvin has pitched well for the A's this season and the Tigers are ok on offense but not great. The Tigers have lost three in a row and I like the A's and Irvin to make it four after today.
