Money Line: -110.00 St. Louis (Away)
Result: Win
The St. Louis Cardinals and the Cleveland Indians meet in interleague action. The St. Louis Cardinals had the day off yesterday, but are coming off a 10-6 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Johan Oviedo went 4.1 innings giving up three runs on five hits. The Cards will send Adam Wainwright to the mound. He has posted a 7-6 record this season with a 3.56 ERA and 111 strikeouts this season. The Indians also had Monday off and are coming off a 3-2 win over the Rays as well. Triston McKenzie allowed two runs on five in six innings. They will counter with Cal Quantrill on the mound. He has posted a 2-2 record with a 3.84 ERA and 50 strikeouts this season.

St. Louis is 6-16 in their last 22 road games and 2-6 in their last 8 games against the AL Central. Cleveland is 4-9 in their last 13 home games and 2-5 in their last 7 games overall.

The Cardinal's offense looks better on paper than they have been producing on the field. Wainwright has been good this season but not great. The Indians are also struggling at the plate, scoring just 14 runs in their four-game set against the Rays. I am taking the better starter and better pen in the Cardinals in a game between two teams that have struggled offensively.

Play on St Louis.
