The Pittsburgh Pirates will take on the Arizona Diamondbacks in MLB action. took two of three from the NY Mets over the weekend. The D'backs dropped the first two games of their series to the Cubs before avoiding the sweep by taking yesterday's game. The D'backs will go for two in a row by sending Caleb Smith to the mound. Smith has posted a 2-6 record with a 4.54 ERA with 81 strikeouts this season.

The D'backs have been the worst team in baseball this season. Arizona has been dealing with injuries to multiple starters which has not only hurt them in their starting rotation but also their pen. De Jong hasn't been consistent this season and has given up 14 earned runs in 14.2 innings. If De Jong is on he can look good and if you need to look good on the mound, Arizona is the team you want to face.
