The New York Mets dropped their first game back from the All-Star break to the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-1 but more importantly, Lindor left the game with an injury. The Mets will need the rest of the offense to step up if Lindor is out for any length of time as they try to hold onto their lead in the NL East. 6 RBI. The New York Mets will send Tyler Megill to the mound to face the Pirates. he is 0-0 this season in three starts with a 3.50 ERA with 26 strikeouts and 14 walks.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have won five of their last eight and have been playing some decent baseball for the Pirates. They will look to build off of yesterday's win by sending Wil Crowe to the mound. So far this season, he is 1-5 with a 6.05 ERA and 50 strikeouts.

The Mets have been a hit-or-miss team all season and if Lindor is out for any period of time, Alonso and the rest of the team will need to step up or there will be a lot more misses than hits. Crowe has not been all that good this season but has shown some improvement over his last two starts. He has allowed just four runs while striking out 10 in a little over 9 innings. Megill has been ok for the Mets but you have to like the nice + money on the Pirates with the way they have been playing as of late.
