Point Spread: -5.00 | -104.00 Phoenix (Home)
Result: Loss
Point Spread: -5.00 | -104.00 Phoenix (Home)
Result: Loss
The Los Angeles Clippers will look to even the Western Conference Finals at a game apiece with the Phoenix Suns. The Clippers dropped Game 120-114. Paul George had 34 points in the loss hitting 7 three-pointers but only shooting 10-26 for the game. The fourth quarter was their downfall as they scored just 21 points in the stanza.
The Phoenix Suns shook off the layoff and came out of Game 1 with a well-deserved win despite playing without Chris Paul. Devin Booker stepped up big time, recording a triple-double with 40 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. It was his first triple-double of his career and it couldn't have come at a better time. DeAndre Ayton had a big game with 20 points with nine rebounds.
The Clippers let one get away in Game 1 as they had a chance o steal the game but let it slip through their fingers. Without Leonard, in the lineup, the Clippers really don't have an answer for Booker on the defensive end. Ayton can dominate the Clippers when they go small and unless they are shooting lights out I can't see them keeping up with the Sund at home.
Play on Phoenix.
