The San Diego Padres come into this game on a four-game losing streak and need a win to right the ship. The Padres offense has been anemic as of late. They have put up just six runs in their last three games and three or fewer runs in four of their last eight games. The Padres will counter with Yu Darvish making the start. He has posted a 5-1 record with a 2.16 ERA and 79 strikeouts this season. Against the Mets, he is 2-0 with a 3.24 ERA and 38 strikeouts.

The Padres have lost four in a row and their offense has been struggling to score runs. The Mets are just the opposite at the moment as their offense has come around and has been producing runs in bunches. Darvish has been outstanding this season but Walker hasn't been bad this season. I like the value on the Mets as a big dog in this one.
