Against the Diamondbacks, he is 3-1 with a 2.51 ERA and 43 strikeouts. The Diamondbacks are coming off a 5-4 loss to the San Francisco Giants. Arizona will counter with Matt Peacock making the start. He is 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA with 15 strikeouts this season.

Arizona has been a mess and is struggling in all aspects of the game. Martinez came off the injured list and had a nice start in his return. He should be able to build on that start against a struggling Diamondbacks team. Peacock has not pitched well this season and the Cardinals will score enough to win this one.
