The Minnesota Twins have lost six of their last seven as their vaunted offense has been unable to score runs. They have scored six runs in their last three games and three or fewer runs in six of their last seven games. The Twins will look to turn things around by sending Jose Berrios to the mound. He is 2-2 with a 3.00 ERA and 30 strikeouts this season. For his career, he is 5-3 with a 3.96 ERA and 70 strikeouts against the Indians.
The Cleveland Indians have not been much better having lost six of their last eight games. The Indians have scored 11 runs in their last three games and three or fewer runs in eight of their last 12 games. The Indians will turn to Zach Plesac for today's start. He is 1-3 with a 6.75 ERA and 14 strikeouts this season. Berrios has posted a 3.00 ERA, but in four starts he has made it past the 6th inning just once in four starts. The Twins bullpen is not all that great posting a 4.57 ERA. Plesac has given up 12 earned runs over his last two starts combined. I think this number has been set low.
