The good thing for Milwaukee is since this game got out of control early they were able to rest their best relievers and not waste them in the blowout loss. The Brewers will look to turn things around by sending Teddy Peralta to the mound. He is 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA and 31 strikeouts this season. In his career, he has gone 4-1 with a 3.18 ERA and 36 strikeouts against the Cubs. The Cubs will counter with Adbert Alzolay taking the mound. He is 0-2 with a 6.10 ERA and 10 strikeouts this season. For his career, he is 0-2 with a 6.35 ERA and 11 strikeouts against the Brewers. Peralta has been able to handle the Cubs in both of his starts this season. The Cubs scored a bunch of runs yesterday but all season they have not been consistent at putting up runs. The Cubs swing and miss a lot and Peralta is a strikeout pitcher. I like Milwaukee to bounce back in this one.
