The Avalanche have been red-hot and are riding the longest point streak in the NHL this season going 13-0-2. Why would anybody be willing to step in front of that train game? In Monday's game second period, the Avs outshot Minnesota 20-5 and scored four goals. The Wild, however, outscored Colorado in both the first and the third periods. That should give them confidence heading into tonight's game. The loss Monday was the first at home in 12 games for the Wild. The Wild have already beaten the Avalanche in 13 of their last 19 meetings at home and they have won nine of its last 12 games after giving up at least five snipes in its previous game.
