The Rays will look to bounce back after getting pounded by the Red Sox yesterday. On paper, the Rays are a much better club. Even though Boston won easily you can't be swayed by recency bias and Boston was terrible against Baltimore. The Rays will send Tyler Glasnow to the mound for today's start. Glasnow had a huge opening day on the mound. I am looking for another huge day from Glasnow against the Red Sox. If the Rays do have to turn to the bullpen earlier than expected, they will have a bunch of rested arms at the ready. Boston’s offense was non-existent in the first series against Baltimore and Glasnow is better than any Baltimore pitcher. Perez had a ton of success against the Rays in 2020, so he will have confidence coming into this game.
