The White Sox dropped a game they should have won. Not a good way to start the season. The Angels were able to eke out a 4-3 victory yesterday in the season opener for both teams. Chicago had a 3-2 edge in the eighth inning of Thursday’s opening game, but their highly thought of bullpen gave up two runs in the bottom of the inning. Losing Jimenez is a big blow for Chicago, as he provided power and protection for Jose Abreu in the lineup. Keuchel has owned the Angels in his career and he has the better team behind him.
