The Hurricanes should be improved on the offensive end of the ice this year and Detroit cannot do anything but improve on the defensive end as they were last in goals allowed a year ago. Detroit will have Thomas Greiss between the pipes. He has a decent 2.74 GAA last year and has a 2.57 GAA in his career against the Canes. Detroit struggled to score last season and are going against one of the better defensive teams last season. Petr Mrazek has 21 shutouts in his career and 14 of them have come on the road. Last season he had a 2.69 GAA. The Under is 7-2 in Carolina's last 9 vs. the Eastern Conference and 13-5-1 in Detroit's last 19 vs. Eastern Conference. They went under the first game this season and I look for it to happen again.
