Sam Reinhart added 22 goals and Victor Olofsson had 20 goals. Between the pipes, Linus Ullmark posted a 17-14-3 record with a 2.69 GAA, and a .915 save percentage.

The Capitals are 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings though they split a pair of contests a season ago. In the most recent matchup, it was Buffalo taking a 3-2 shootout win at home on March 9, 2020. Washington is just the better team in this one.
