The San Antonio Spurs are hoping for a better showing against the Lakers this time out. This will be their second game in three days against LA, after being blown out the first time they met. In the first game, LeBron James had 26 points, to go with five rebounds and eight assists. If LaMarcus Aldridge sits out again, DeMar DeRozan will have to carry the team on his back. That will be tough against the ninth-ranked scoring defense. One good sign for the spurs was Dejounte Murray stepping up and scoring 29 points against the Lakers.

If Aldridge can't go in this one, the Spurs will be at a huge disadvantage. Even if he does play, will he be limited in some sort of way? This is a bad matchup for the Spurs. The Lakers swept all three games last season. San Antonio doesn’t have the offensive firepower or the elite defense needed to win this game. The Spurs only chance is to shoot lights out from deep and I don't see that happening against this Lakers team.
